At New Generals, we want to be a responsible and developing partner and actively influence our suppliers and partners to take responsibility and focus on health, the environment and responsible working conditions.

SOCIAL SUSTAINABILITY

We place high demands on our own and on our partners' way of running a business. That is why we work in close contact with the people who are involved throughout our value chain. All our partners share our social values and demands for working conditions such as reasonable pay, physical conditions such as ventilation, holidays, working hours, health insurance and other social conditions.

The use of GOTS CERTIFIED COTTON not only ensures that the cotton is organically grown, it also sets requirements for a wide range of criteria such as proper social and practical working conditions and prohibits all forms of child labor. In addition, the entire value chain must live up to a number of requirements for sustainable and responsible production and handling. This applies, among other things. packaging, labeling, trade and shipment of the goods. The requirements for social criteria are based on the most important standards of the ILO (International Labor Organization), and must be met by all manufacturers. Producers must have defined their own social policy, which must ensure that the social criteria can be met.
